Coyote vs Acme: Allow Me to Get Sentimental

They showed up to cheer on Coyote and Kevin and Paige Avery as they stood up to the big guy. No matter what the original goal was, not matter the outcome, we collectively showed up.

Searching for Bigfoot with Willow Creek

I am going to be honest, I have mixed feelings on this movie and its hard to really decide what I want to say about it. A brief overview, Willow Creek is a 2013 found footage horror movie directed by Bobcat Goldthwait.

Hokum- Mystery and Grief

So what did I expect? A slow burn folk horror. And what did I get? A thriller mystery with supernatural elements that lean towards folk horror.

Masters of Horror: Homecoming- War, Lies, Media, and Fake Patriotism

The episode wants to make it clear that this patriotism and love for America is fake. It’s a love of power and control, and the people behind it will literally, because they do, destroy the country to achieve it.

Top Episodes from Season One of Metalocalypse

An important part of the show is that Dethklok while espousing a love for brutality and all things that make up heavy metal are also… child like. They are willfully ignorant and outright ridiculous, including that they need constant care and supervision from their manager.

A Tribute to Catherine O'Hara and Moria Rose

The kid in me thinks of a mother trying to get home to her son. The teen that went through a goth “phase” thinks of her from Tim Burton movies. The slightly older me that loved weird comedies thinks of those. But I think current Megan really does connect with Schitt’s Creek

Dehumanization in No Other Choice

It is just a profound piece of fiction in all ways that will stay with most people. If you are anything like me you immediate thought upon finishing it will be “damn I want to watch that again.”

First the Plague, Then Zombies, Now After Inc

After Inc launched in early access last year so I am more than a little late to the party, but I am so glad I showed up.
